Fence wash in League City

I got a call from a League City customer asking if I could get their fence looking better. They recently purchased the house and wanted to squeeze a bit more life out of their fence before spending the money to rebuild it. After looking at it I was confident they would be happy with the result. The fence was soft washed. A 2% sodium hypochlorite mix was used. The chems were applied and allowed to dwell for a few minutes and then a low pressure rinse was applied using a wide fan pattern. I did have to repeat the process twice. Can a stronger mix be used? Yes, but the stronger the mix the increased furring of the wood. It’s easier on the wood to take more time and use less chemical. This fence wash extended the life of the fence by killing the algae living on the wood cause rot. It also made the fence look nearly new again.
